The Legal Kid Foundation is a non-profit organization that is impelled to support children and their families. Our mission is to reduce the school-to-prison pipeline by educating and empowering children and their families in literacy, law, and mental health awareness.

If we want our children to participate in social change, we must first teach them the strategic prioritization of social values and limitations, budgetary planning, and compelling negotiations involved in a true democracy.

WHAT WE DO
We provide a solution to help reduce the school-to-prison pipeline by:
- Awaken young minds to be leading conscious citizens aware of the law, their own rights, respectful of the rights of others, and aware of the strength of their own voice.
- Promote educational advocacy for parents that require assistance with educational policy and procedure.
- Hold free to low cost workshops (virtually and/or in-person) to help children with social-emotional issues at home, school, and/or in their communities
- Provide affordable literacy programming
